AEP has the advantage of its own in-house fabrication division, American Fabricated Products (AFP).
This allows the plating division to obtain custom tooling and equipment expeditiously and at a lower cost than our competitors.
AFP maintains a fully stocked parts crib with its own machine shop which reduces any down time due to equipment issues. It also supplies custom masking belts for our selective plating cells, resulting in reduced tooling costs and turnaround time.
AFP has a custom plastic fabrication department, specializing in tanks, laboratory wet benches, clean room equipment, exhaust hoods and duct.
